Based in Leeds; work across North of England
Due to continuous expansion, L&M Survey Services are looking to recruit Survey Assistants.
The post holder will carry out surveying duties and also provide surveying assistance to other staff. Duties include, but are not limited to, carrying out topographic surveys on a variety of sites, measured building surveys, setting out on construction sites, highway surveys, surveys on network rail infrastructure, using the survey instrumentation to collect survey data, ensuring equipment is maintained, post processing survey data and general office duties.
You will form part of an already substantial survey team with the back-up of a strong management team with a wealth of experience in this sector.
Whilst based out of our Doncaster office, the projects which L&M Survey Services undertake do require the company to work the length and breadth of the country so a willingness to travel will be required.
Desired Skills and Experience
Recognised surveying qualification or minimum 5 years experience required.
Engaging and assertive interpersonal skills, including ability to liaise with staff at all levels of the company.
Quickly grasps requirements of the organization.
Strong computer skills, in particular knowledge of Windows based and Internet systems and Microsoft Office. Candidates with LSS and AutoCAD post processing experience advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given.
Salary is above industry average and will depend on experience with an enhanced payment & bonus system, and will be discussed at interview. Other benefits are available.
