Introduction
L&M Survey Services prepare land title plans for property sales and provide boundary surveys which meet the requirements of the Land Register of Scotland. Additional services include GIS data capture for asset management of property and land, and the provision of Ordnance Survey digital mapping. Using the highest spec PC workstations and plotting devices, we produce highly accurate digital plans and data, delivering a high quality product which meets our client’s exact requirements. We also offer an arbitration service and can act as an expert witness in boundary disputes.
Case Study
The Scottish Executive employed L&M’s digitising services during the upgrade of the southern section of the M77 from Fenwick in East Ayrshire to Eaglesham Road end in East Renfrewshire. Seconding a member of our team to the Edinburgh headquarters for 9 months, we digitised the plans which had been produced for the project onto existing OS drawings for the area. We also undertook the digitising of all the project’s CPOs.
